Itanagar, Feb 26 (KNN) Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) has organised a day-long awareness programme on “Build the Enterprise of Your Dreams” at North East Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST).

The objectives of the programme was to promote and support untapped creativity of individual and to promote adoption of the latest technologies in manufacturing as well as knowledge based innovative MSMEs.

As per the release, a total of 120 students participated in the programme.

Speaking on the occasion, NERIST Director Prof H S Yadav, highlighted the role of building entrepreneurs for the development of society and nation.

He also stressed that students particularly with engineering and management background should not only be the job seeker but they should be job creator in order to reduce the unemployment among the youths.

Further, he informed that a tour programme would be arranged for the students of NERIST to visit industries developed through MSMEs in north eastern region to enhance the confidence among the students.

Assistant Director, MSME Branch of Itanagar SLN Kumar urged the students to come up with innovative ideas to start an enterprise.

”The feedback of the students were taken and discussion on various schemes under MSMEs was undertaken,” the release added.
