Testing Room at Meerut

New Delhi, July 30 (KNN) Laghu Udhyog Bharti (LUB) from Chhattisgarh region have demanded a testing room facility from Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) for tool rooms in their region.

In a recent meeting with Dr Arun Kumar Panda, MSME Secretary, during his Chhattisgarh visit at Circuit House in Durg, delegation of LUB held discussions with the MSME Secretary regarding the problems being faced by small scale industries in the State.

The delegation was led by State Working Committee member and State Office Secretary Durga Prasad along with Durg Unit President Sanjay Choubey and state working committee member Pawan Badjatiya and Anand Rathi.

During the meeting, LUB raised many issues including issue related to restructuring policy introduced by RBI.

According to LUB, banks are not taking interest in the policy.

Besides demanding a testing room facility, Durg Unit President, Sanjay Choubey urged the Secretary “For employees training, PLC, Drive, Skada, Artificial intelligence, Data Analysis must be started in the tool rooms.

He made the request looking forward to the vast possibilities in the electrical and electronics industries in Chhattisgarh and also availability of engineering students.

They also raised the issue related to public procurement policy, to which MSME Secretary informed that the ministry has written letter to every PSU and other government organizations for its apt implementation of the policy along with asking the government organizations to implement TReDS regarding rules.

He also informed that for the solution of the problems of the industries associated with Bhilai Steel Plant soon a meeting of Steel Secretary, CEO BSP and Secretary MSME will be organized.
