Imphal (Manipur), December 15 (HS): Manipur Police have detained 211 individuals in connection with various violations occurring in Thoubal and Kakching districts of the state. Police authorities announced today that they have facilitated the movement of 284 vehicles carrying essential commodities on NH-37 and 178 vehicles on NH-2. Stringent security measures have been implemented at sensitive locations to ensure the unhindered and secure passage of vehicles, with extensive deployment of security forces in these areas.
A total of 142 checkpoints and check-posts have been established across different districts of Manipur, encompassing both the hills and the valley, as reported by the police.
