BJP's Surjeet Singh Slathia Emphasizes Development Initiatives in J&K, Restoring Hope and Confidence

Jammu, November 15 (HS): Surjeet Singh Slathia, former Minister and senior BJP leader, highlighted the significant initiatives undertaken in Jammu and Kashmir since 2019 to restore peace and propel development to new heights. These efforts have rekindled hope and a sense of confidence among the people, according to Slathia.

Addressing the party’s Karykarts as part of the “Booth Jan Samvad” in Jammu, Slathia praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Mission J&K,” which is transforming into reality. He emphasized the BJP’s commitment to ensuring that every individual in society receives an equal share in the development process.

The transformation witnessed across the union territory has generated a sense of positivity and optimism among the people. Young individuals are achieving new milestones in various fields, including sports, academics, career advancement, and entrepreneurship through startups. Slathia noted that “Mission Modi” aims to create an environment of peace and stability, offering equitable opportunities for every segment of society to progress and prosper.

Restoring peace and normalcy was the top priority in a challenging situation, and this was made possible through the strong support of the people. It subsequently led to unprecedented progress on economic and developmental fronts. People are now experiencing the dividends of peace, Slathia added.

Slathia expressed confidence that under the BJP’s leadership, all regions and sub-regions of Jammu and Kashmir will thrive as vibrant units, offering equal opportunities for progress without discrimination or appeasement.

He also highlighted the significant strides made over the past four years in implementing various schemes and welfare programs with missionary zeal, resulting in the growth and development of every section of society.

The event was attended by prominent BJP leaders, including Kashmira Singh (President BJP Samba), Vijay Singh (Vice President, BJP Samba), Ankush Mahajan (Mandal President, BJP Samba), Pawan Kohli (Chairman MNC), Rajni Sambyal (Vice Chairperson), and several other party workers.
