DGCA Imposes ?10 Lakh Fine on Air India for Rule Violations

New Delhi, November 22 (HS): The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has taken action against Air India, imposing a fine of Rs10 lakh for not complying with aviation regulations. The aviation regulator issued a show cause notice to Air India on November 3, seeking its response regarding non-compliance with relevant rules.

The statement from DGCA does not provide further details regarding the nature of the rule violations by Air India. Air India, owned by Air India Limited under the Tata Group, is yet to respond to this development.
