Bengaluru, November 22 (HS): Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) welcomed the 46th batch of Management and Design Trainees (MTs and DTs) during a program held in Bengaluru. These trainees will undergo a comprehensive 52-week training program at the HAL Management Academy, covering various disciplines such as aeronautics, production, electrical, electronics, computer science, finance, human resources, and legal.
Among more than 30,000 aspirants, HAL has selected and inducted 139 trainees into this batch. The event featured the release of seven handbooks on technical and managerial subjects by C.B. Ananthakrishnan, CMD (Additional Charge) of HAL.
Speaking on the occasion, Ananthakrishnan encouraged the trainees to work diligently and passionately. He emphasized HAL’s prominent position, ranking among the top 40 companies in India in terms of market capitalization and 29th globally. Ananthakrishnan highlighted the expectations for HAL to sustain growth, perform well, and contribute to the “Aatmanirbhar Bharat” initiative. He called upon the trainees, who represent the future, to meet stakeholders’ expectations and elevate HAL’s reputation.
A.B. Pradhan, Director HR, urged the trainees to approach their work with enthusiasm and dedication, emphasizing that working at HAL is not just about pursuing a career but also contributing to the nation’s mission. He encouraged them to focus on quality and enjoy their work.
Other HAL dignitaries, including Jayadeva E.P, Director Operations, Mihir Kanti Mishra, CEO (Bangalore Complex), S. Anbuvelan, CEO (Helicopter Complex), and G Srikantha Sharma, Executive Director, HMA, also emphasized the importance of innovation and excellence in designing future aircraft.
At the event, various indigenously manufactured items from different HAL complexes, such as 3D-printed parts, engine components, machined parts, and instruments, were displayed, showcasing the organization’s capabilities and commitment to self-reliance in aerospace.
