Prayagraj, 8 Dec (HS): Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, Uttar Pradesh Government’s Industrial Development Minister and MLA for Prayagraj City South, actively participated in a Bhoomi Pujan program and the distribution of approval letters for 597 newly approved houses in the Naini Chhivki area under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban). The event took place near Ramlila Ground in Chhivki Naini Prayagraj.
During the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony, Minister Nandi expressed his commitment to the welfare of the people and emphasized the transformative impact of the welfare schemes initiated under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He highlighted the significant change brought about by the Modi government, contrasting it with the inefficiencies of previous administrations where welfare schemes failed to reach the intended beneficiaries.
Minister Nandi remarked that under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, welfare schemes are now effectively reaching the grassroots level. He specifically mentioned the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra, a campaign aimed at ensuring the benefits of welfare schemes reach every individual, regardless of their socio-economic status.
The Minister further praised Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s dedication to fulfilling the vision of the Prime Minister. He emphasized that basic facilities such as housing, roads, electricity, and water are being provided to every citizen, reflecting the government’s commitment to inclusivity.
Speaking about the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Minister Nandi noted that the scheme is making the dream of owning a house a reality for millions of economically disadvantaged individuals. He underscored the non-discriminatory nature of the schemes, emphasizing that eligibility is the sole criterion for beneficiaries, irrespective of caste or religion.
During the program, Minister Nandi performed the Bhoomi Pujan for several residences and distributed approval letters to the beneficiaries. The event witnessed the presence of key officials, including Additional Municipal Commissioner Municipal Corporation Prayagraj Arvind Kumar Rai, PO Duda Vartika Singh, Naini Mandal President BJP Dilip Kesarwani, Shyam Mishra, Ravi Mishra, Pawan Yadav, and Omprakash Mishra.
Impact on MSMEs and Businesses:
The active participation of Minister Nandi in the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana distribution and Bhoomi Pujan program reflects the government’s commitment to inclusive development. MSMEs involved in construction, real estate, and related sectors have the potential to benefit from the increased focus on housing and infrastructure development. As welfare schemes reach the grassroots level, there may be opportunities for businesses to engage in construction projects, supply chain activities, and other related services.
MSMEs operating in the regions targeted by such initiatives could explore collaborations or partnerships to contribute to the successful implementation of housing projects. The emphasis on eligibility-based benefits provides a transparent framework, allowing businesses to engage with the government in a fair and competitive manner.
In summary, the government’s commitment to welfare schemes and inclusive development creates a positive environment for MSMEs, especially those involved in sectors related to housing and infrastructure, to actively participate in projects that contribute to the well-being of communities and individuals.
