
Optus services affected, over 10 million consumers without internet
Sydney, 8 Nov (HS):- More than 10 million consumers were deprived of telephone and internet services due to a technical snag in Singtel Optus PTI Limited, the biggest company in Australia providing telecommunication services.
The company accepted that the communication lines were disrupted. Optus said on Wednesday that some services across its fixed line and mobile networks were gradually being restored. CEO of the company Kelly Bayer Rosmarin said that there is no indication of cyber attack or hacking, which affected the broadband internet services.
